Hyper Frame Selection (Most Important!)

• Location: “Hyper Frame (Pick ONE)” section

• Setting: “Timeframe”

• What to choose:

  • Trading 15min or 1H charts? → Use “240” (4-hour)

  • Trading 4H or Daily charts? → Use “D” (Daily)

  • Trading Daily or Weekly charts? → Use “W” (Weekly)

Why this matters: This filter keeps you aligned with the bigger trend. Only take longs when this timeframe is green, shorts when it’s red.

MA Type (Optional, default is fine)

• Location: “MA Config” section

• Default: EMA (recommended)

• Options: EMA, SMA, WMA, HMA, RMA, VWMA

• Most traders should stick with EMA

Visual Toggles (Customize your view)

• Entry Zone: Turn individual EMAs on/off (3, 5, 21, 34)

• Exit Zone: Turn individual EMAs on/off (89, 144)

• Hyper Frame: Toggle the higher timeframe EMAs on/off

Step 3: Clean Up Your Chart

Turn OFF these if visible:

1. Volume bars (they clutter the view)

2. Any other indicators you have loaded

3. Grid lines (optional, but cleaner)

Keep ONLY:

• Price candles

• Maybe support/resistance levels if you manually draw them

How to Trade With This Script

The Basic Workflow

Before the Market Opens:

1. Check the background color and info table bias

   • Green background? Look for LONG setups only

   • Red background? Look for SHORT setups only

   • Gray background? Stay flat or trade small

During the Trading Session:

LONGS (When hyper frame is bullish):

1. Wait for Entry 1 signal:

   • Lime triangle appears with “20%”

   • Price has reclaimed the 5 EMA after dipping to 3 EMA

   • Action: Enter 20% of your intended position

   • Stop loss: Place below the 5 EMA or recent swing low

2. Wait for Entry 2 signal:

   • Green triangle appears with “30%”

   • Price pulled back to 21 EMA and bounced

   • Action: Add 30% more (you’re now at 50% total)

   • Move stop: Trail it up to below 21 EMA

3. Wait for Entry 3 signal:

   • Teal triangle appears with “50%”

   • Price compressed at 34 EMA and broke out

   • Action: Add final 50% (you’re now 100% loaded)

   • Move stop: Trail it up to below 34 EMA

4. Wait for Exit 1 signal:

   • Orange triangle appears with “50% OFF”

   • Price broke below 89 EMA

   • Action: Exit 50% of your position immediately

   • Move stop on rest: Trail to 89 EMA or lock in profits

5. Wait for Exit 2 signal:

Common Questions

“What if I miss Entry 1? Can I still take Entry 2?”

Yes! Each entry is independent. If you miss the 3→5 reclaim, wait for the 21 EMA bounce. You’ll start with a 30% position instead of 20%, but that’s fine.

Rule: Never chase. Wait for the next EMA setup.

“What if multiple entry signals trigger at the same bar?”

Rare, but possible. If you see both Entry 1 and Entry 2 trigger together:

• Take Entry 1 first (20%)

• If the next bar confirms Entry 2 is still valid, add 30%

• When in doubt, scale in gradually

“The hyper frame is green but I’m seeing short signals?”

Don’t take them. The hyper frame is your bias filter. If it says “go long,” ignore short setups. They’re usually lower probability and will get stopped out.

“Can I use this for swing trading overnight?”

Absolutely. Just switch your hyper frame:

• If you’re on Daily charts, use Weekly hyper frame

• If you’re on 4H charts, use Daily hyper frame

• Adjust position sizes for overnight risk

“What if the signal appears right at market close?”

Don’t chase it. Wait for the next bar (next day) to confirm. Signals that appear in the last 5 minutes are often noise.

“How do I set up alerts?”

1. Right-click on the chart

2. Select “Add Alert”

3. Choose “LazyEMA” from the condition dropdown

4. Select which signal you want alerts for:

   • Entry 1: 3→5 Reclaim

   • Entry 2: 21 EMA Add

   • Entry 3: 34 EMA Breakout

   • Exit 1: 89 EMA Break

When This System Works Best

✅ Ideal Conditions:

• Clear trends (strong directional moves)

• Hyper frame EMAs are clean and aligned

• Price respects EMAs with clean bounces

• Volume is above average

• Market is liquid (major indices, forex majors, large-cap stocks)

⚠️ Challenging Conditions:

• Choppy, sideways markets

• Hyper frame is gray (neutral bias)

• EMAs are tangled/compressed

• Low volume periods (lunch hours, holidays)

• News events causing whipsaws

When in doubt, sit out. This system needs trending conditions to work.

• Expect 2-4 setups per day

• Tighter stops (0.5% risk per entry)

The “Don’t Be Stupid” Checklist

Before taking ANY signal from this script, ask:

1. ✅ Is the hyper frame bias pointing in my direction?

2. ✅ Is the signal clean (not at a weird time or during news)?

3. ✅ Do I know my stop loss level?

4. ✅ Do I know my position size?

5. ✅ Can I afford to lose if this trade fails?

If you answered “no” to ANY of these, skip the trade.

Troubleshooting

“I’m not seeing any signals”

Possible causes:

• The “Show Lazy Trader System” toggle is off (turn it on)

• Your chart timeframe is too high (try 1H or 4H)

• Market is in a tight range (EMAs are compressed)

• You need to refresh the chart

“Too many signals, getting whipsawed”

Fixes:

• Increase your chart timeframe (go from 15m to 1H)

• Switch to a less volatile ticker

• Only trade when hyper frame bias is STRONG (not neutral)

• Add a minimum bar count between signals

“The info table is covering my price action”

Fix:

• Edit the script

• Find the line: table.new(position.top_right, ...

• Change position.top_right to position.bottom_right or position.top_left

“Signals appear then disappear”

This is normal (repainting). Some signals (especially compression breakouts) can disappear if the next bar reverses. This is why you:

1. Wait for bar close before acting

2. Use alerts that only fire on confirmed bars

3. Don’t chase signals mid-bar

Final Words

This script is a decision-making tool, not a crystal ball. It shows you high-probability setups based on EMA dynamics and trend structure. You still need to:

• Manage your risk

• Choose your position size

• Stick to the rules

• Accept losses when they happen

Allocation Model

Markets expand and contract — breathe if you will. Opportunities come in clusters, not evenly distributed over time. Because of that, I use adaptive sizing principles rather than fixed allocations.

If my watchlist has fewer high-quality, eligible setups than usual, I scale down expectations instead of forcing exposure. Cash is a position. This keeps me aligned with market conditions rather than arbitrary quotas.

Position Size & Scaling Model

Starter positions (⅛ to ⅓ size) are exploration, not commitment. They let me observe price behavior without heavy exposure.

I scale up only as conditions strengthen and confirmation improves. This is not averaging down or doubling down — it’s how I respond when momentum, structure, and flow confirm the thesis.

Educational framework only — this reflects my personal process, not a recommended system.

Volatility Awareness Model

Volatility directly impacts risk expectations. Here’s how I personally adjust exposure:

• High ATR / IV → smaller starting expectations

• Moderate ATR / IV → baseline approach

• Low ATR / IV → slightly more flexibility

• Elevated VIX → assume broader uncertainty

These are mental models — not instructions.

Shooter’s AI Score & Risk Framework Model

My scoring system is an internal confidence gauge for the quality of a setup — not its outcome.

Conviction is never determined by a single metric. It’s the intersection of:

• AI Score (technical quality)

• Risk–Reward Score

• Position Size Score

• Fundamental / Quality Overlay (PTJ Just Score)

How I interpret the bands

• AI below 50 with R/R under 6 → low-quality setup. Even strong fundamentals won’t move the needle. I usually pass.

• AI 50–65 with R/R 6–7 → exploratory. Smallest attention size only.

• AI 66–79 with R/R 8–9 → structural potential. If PTJ Just Score is above average, size may expand modestly — still light.

• AI 80–84 with R/R 9+ → alignment is tightening. With a strong PTJ Just Score, exposure naturally trends higher.

• AI 85–94 with R/R 10+ → high conviction. If institutional quality confirms, exposure may approach the upper end of my allowable range.

• AI 95–99 with R/R 10+ → exceptional alignment.

• AI 100 → extremely rare. Reserved for environments where everything aligns — and even then, typically only broad indices or major assets (SPY, QQQ, IWM, BTC, ETH), not single names.

Educational framework only — these are my internal filters and are not position-sizing guidance for anyone else.

Risk Considerations & Capital Preservation

Here’s how I personally think about risk:

• I aim to keep risk contained on each idea

• In extreme volatility, I lean conservative

• I monitor total portfolio heat across days, weeks, and months

Win-Rate Discipline

When my win rate weakens, I tighten exposure in 5% increments. When it improves, I loosen exposure incrementally.

This is a behavioral anchor I use to stay disciplined — not a rule for anyone else.

Scaling Out & Taking Profits

Tools I monitor include:

• ATR-based trailing concepts

• Momentum gauges (RSI, MACD)

CSP / CC Adjustments

Covered calls and cash-secured puts carry real risks. When pressure builds:

Trend Breach Protocol (Two-Tier Mindset)

I use two frameworks:

Tight Trend Breach
Used to protect gains or identify early weakness. Assessed on a closing basis and often paired with Confirming Trend Support/Resistance (Mound Theory).

Allows more room during larger cycles. Also assessed on a closing basis.

The Paul Tudor Jones Just Score is a slow-moving quality and durability filter, not a trading signal.

It reflects how long-duration institutional capital evaluates companies — focusing on governance, ethics, operational trust, and risk management rather than price action.

It answers one question:
“Is this asset even eligible for size and patience?”

How It’s Built
The score is manual and rules-based, not a real-time data feed (yet).

It consists of four pillars, each scored 0–25, for a total score of 0–100:

• Workers

• Environment

• Community

• Ethical Leadership

Scores are derived from public information, long-term trends, and informed judgment — not short-term headlines or market movement.

Updates occur quarterly or annually, not day-to-day.

Why I Added the PTJ Just Score
I added the Paul Tudor Jones Just Score as an institutional permission filter. It tells me what deserves patience and size — not just what’s moving.

I already apply similar filters elsewhere:

• Avoiding thin or illiquid names

• Preferring $10+ share prices (institutional preference)

• Requiring 1,000+ open interest contracts for options liquidity and durability

The PTJ Just Score formalizes that thinking.

Tax-loss harvesting Strategy Process

Tax-loss harvesting = intentionally realizing a loss now to reduce your tax bill, while trying to keep your investment exposure.

You:

1. Sell something that’s down (realize a capital loss).

2. Use that loss to offset current or future capital gains (and up to a limited amount of ordinary income).

3. Rebuy something similar (but not “too similar”) so your portfolio stays aligned with your strategy.

Details depend on whether we’re talking stocks/ETFs vs crypto, and on your country’s tax rules. I’ll assume U.S. rules unless you tell me otherwise.

Step-by-step for stocks & ETFs (U.S.)

Step 1 – Identify losers

• Pull up your taxable brokerage account (not IRA/401k).

• Sort positions by unrealized loss.

• Focus on:

  • Positions you don’t mind reducing or swapping.

  • Positions with meaningful dollar losses (small losses often aren’t worth the friction).

Step 2 – Know your tax buckets

• Short-term gains/losses = held ≤ 1 year → taxed at ordinary income rates.

• Long-term gains/losses = held > 1 year → taxed at long-term capital gains rates.

At tax time, the IRS nets them like this:

1. Short-term gains – short-term losses = net ST.

2. Long-term gains – long-term losses = net LT.

3. Net ST and net LT are then combined to get your overall result.

If, after all that:

• You still have a net loss, you can use up to $3,000 per year to offset ordinary income.
  Anything beyond that carries forward to future years.

Step 3 – Mind the wash sale rule

For stocks, ETFs, mutual funds in the U.S.:

• If you sell at a loss and then buy back the same or “substantially identical” security within 30 days before or after the sale, the loss is disallowed (it’s added to the new cost basis instead).

• That 61-day window = 30 days before, the sale day, and 30 days after.

Practical workaround:

• Sell Stock/ETF A at a loss.

• Immediately buy Stock/ETF B that’s similar exposure but not substantially identical
  (e.g., different ETF tracking same sector, or a basket of names instead of the exact one you sold).

That keeps you invested without triggering the wash sale rule.

Note: wash sales apply across all your accounts (including spouse’s, and even some IRAs), not just in a single brokerage.

Step 4 – Actually execute

For a specific holding:

1. Decide the dollar amount (e.g., “I’m willing to realize ~$10,000 in losses”).

2. Place a sell order for that security in your taxable account.
   Immediately or soon after, buy a replacement:

   • Same asset class, similar risk profile.

   • Not the exact same ticker or substantially identical ETF.

3. Record your trade details:

   • Ticker, date, number of shares, sale price, and replacement bought.

   • Your broker’s 1099-B will capture it, but having your own notes helps.

For crypto (U.S.)

Crypto is currently treated as property, not a security. Under current U.S. rules, the wash sale rule does not apply to crypto (this could change in future law, so always double-check or ask a tax pro).

That means, as of now:

• You can sell a coin at a loss,

• Realize the loss,

• And even rebuy the same coin immediately without triggering wash sale rules.

The rest is similar:

1. Identify coins/tokens with unrealized losses in your taxable accounts/wallets.

2. Sell enough to realize the loss you want.

3. Rebuy if you still want exposure (knowing you’ll reset your cost basis and holding period).

4. Track:

   • Date sold, proceeds, cost basis → realized loss.

   • Date repurchased, cost basis of new lot.

Because rules and enforcement around DeFi / NFTs / cross-chain stuff get messy quickly, this is an area where a crypto-savvy CPA or tax software is very helpful.

Planning considerations

A few things to keep in mind:

• Don’t let the tax tail wag the dog.
  A bad investment is still bad; sometimes it’s better to just exit rather than harvest and roll.

• Transaction costs + spreads + slippage still matter, especially with illiquid names or options.

• Concentration risk.
  If you harvest losses heavily in one area and rotate, you might unintentionally change your portfolio’s risk profile.

• State taxes.
  States may have their own rules; your actual benefit may vary by where you live.

• Record-keeping.
  Use your broker’s tax reports + your own spreadsheet / tax software to reconcile everything.

Super short “checklist” version

You can literally run this at year-end:

1. List all taxable holdings with unrealized losses.

2. Decide: Keep exposure? Reduce? Exit entirely?

3. For keep-exposure:

   • Sell at a loss.

   • Buy a similar but not identical replacement (for stocks/ETFs).

4. For crypto:

   • Sell losers.

   • Rebuy if you still want them (wash sale rule not currently applied there).

5. Confirm:

   • You’re not violating wash sale rules.

   • Your total harvested losses match what you want relative to your current and expected gains.

6. Feed everything into tax software / CPA at filing time.
